The Centre Overview and Brief History
This is the oldest of the NITA’s industrial training Centres started in 1967. NITA NAIROBI; formerly National Industrial and Vocational Training Centre (NIVTC);
The Centre is also a Trade Testing and assessment center for Government Trade Tests. Trainees who undergo the training are usually encouraged to book for Government trade tests during or after completing the courses.
We also mount special preparatory courses to up-skill candidates who have booked for Trade Tests or those planning to book for trade tests.
NITA - Nairobi is situated at the NITA headquarters on Commercial street Industrial Area, Nairobi. The Centre offers training in the following engineering trades at craft level: Building, Mechanical Electrical and Automotive.
