NITA Textile Training Institute (N-TTI) is centre under the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) - a semi-autonomous Government agency established under the Industrial Training (Amendment) Act 2011 for the purpose of regulating industrial training in Kenya. It is located along Commercial Street, Industrial Area, Nairobi. The Centre offers a wide range of courses geared towards the textile value chain in Spinning, Weaving, Processing and Garment Making. It has a vertically integrated cotton, cotton-blend based simulation of a textile processing mill. The training offered drives the Authority’s Vision forward of being“a globally competitive and adequate workforce for industrial development”, in the Textile and Apparel Sector, Leather goods and products and multi-disciplinary fields that support the Textile, Clothing and Fashion industry.
