NITA’s Female Engineering Programme (FEP) is set to fully sponsor 25 girls from vulnerable backgrounds in marginalized areas to pursue engineering courses at craft and diploma levels.
This marks the 17th cohort since the programme’s inception in 2006, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 415. FEP is NITA’s Corporate Social Investment, seeking to bridge the gender gap in engineering and empowering young women through technical skills.
On Thursday, the FEP committee finalized selection process, ensuring a rigorous, merit-based selection that adheres to set criteria. The selected students will begin their journey this year, shaping a future of innovation and inclusivity in engineering.
