NITA Calls on Youth to Enroll in Skill-Oriented Programs for Enhanced Employability

NITA Ag. Director General, Theresa Wasike has urged young people across Kenya to enroll in world-class, skill-oriented programs offered at the Authority’s five Centres of Excellence.
Wasike said that the programs are designed to equip young people with industry-ready qualifications that enhance employability and open doors to self-employment.
The DG spoke on Friday when she joined Kisumu County MP Ruth Odinga during the launch of the County- Wide projects in Pap-Kadundo, Seme Constituency.
Ms. Wasike further reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to nurturing a globally competitive, adaptive, and responsive workforce that meets both present and future labor market demands.She noted that NITA is ready to collaborate with partners whose dedication to youth empowerment through skills development aligns with Authority's mission.
DG Wasike was accompanied by NITA Kisumu Centre Manager, Joel Barua and other staff from the Authority.
