Kenya’s first recognition of prior learning conferment of certificates to 62 Graduates training with base titanium in collaboration with NITA took place at Kwale County on 7th July 2022. The Cabinet Secretary ministry of labour Hon. Simon Chelugui was the chief guest. NITA’s Board members were present led by Mr. Mike Macharia representing the Board Chairman and the Director General Mr. Stephen Ogenga among other members of staff.

The Authority took part in the National Job fair that was conducted by National Employment Authority on 28th June 2022 in Mombasa County. The Director General Mr. Stephen Ogenga who was  a key note speaker during the event noted in his remarks that: Skill development is crucial to stimulate the process of economic development.

Trainees from NTTI showcased the skills they have learnt at the centre during a catwalk sampled from the best garment designs, trending hair styles and exhibitions of their artwork and various talents. PZ Cussons were also present at the event. The Authority endevours to offer training that is in line with the market needs to address the existing gaps in the industry.

National Industrial Training Authority in partnership with; Plan International through Inclusion Futures, , CISCO and Three Talents LLC, p graduated cohort 1 and launched training for the cohort 2 of the Bridge IT CISCO Academy at NITA Headquarters (Nairobi) on 11th March 2022
